This month on the AbsoluteWrite Blog Chain we are doing Teasers. Teasers are short works, typically less than 50 words that hint at a much greater story. I read a few Twitter magazines, which are perfect for this. That’s right, magazines that publish stories on Twitter, stories told in 140 characters or less. My entry for the blog chain is one such story I have written.
“Sir, we’ve lost the west coast, and they are marching on Washington as we speak.”
“How could this happen General?”
“We underestimated them, Mr President. Let’s face it, cats are cute.”

What? This is common behavior when you don’t give them what they want. Ever tried to NOT pet a cat. They force it on you, especially if you don’t like them. They sense it and then pester you ALL NIGHT. 
*I used to be a cat person, but my dog convinced me to love her more. I’m not a hater, though.
